Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of LightLink ("the Service"). By signing up for a tenant or using an account created on a tenant subdomain, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
LightLink provides workforce productivity tracking, attendance, and analytics tools to organizations
("Customers"). The Service consists of: (a) a web admin panel hosted at
*.lightlink.uludeveloper.top, (b) a desktop tracker agent for Windows / macOS / Linux,
and (c) APIs and integrations.
2. Accounts
Customers create a tenant account via the public signup flow. The first user becomes the Tenant Administrator and is responsible for: (a) inviting and approving employees, (b) configuring tracking policies that comply with applicable employment law, (c) communicating those policies to employees before deploying the agent, (d) keeping admin credentials secure.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Track individuals who have not been informed they are subject to monitoring.
- Track devices the employee owns personally without explicit consent and the legal right to do so.
- Reverse-engineer the agent or attempt to bypass tenant isolation.
- Use the Service for any purpose prohibited by the laws of the Customer's jurisdiction.
4. Plans & payment
- Pricing is shown on the homepage and selected during signup.
- Trials run for the period stated on the plan (typically 14 days, 30 for Enterprise).
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled in advance.
- Refunds within 30 days of the first paid period, no questions asked.
- Late payment grace: 7 days past due before service suspends. Data preserved for 30 more days.
5. Customer data
Customer data (employees, activity logs, screenshots, etc.) is owned by the Customer. We process it on the Customer's behalf as set out in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
6. Service availability
We target 99.5% monthly uptime. Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours ahead. We are not liable for downtime caused by Customer misconfiguration, third-party service outages (DNS, payment gateways), or force-majeure events.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LightLink's total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees paid by the Customer in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
- You may cancel anytime from the admin panel. Service runs to the end of the current billing period.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate Section 3 (Acceptable use), with notice when feasible.
- On termination, you have 30 days to export data before it is purged.
9. Changes
Material changes to these terms will be notified to the Customer admin email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat.
